About Me (he/him):  Wonjae Suh // 서원재 // وانجاي صح

Hi! My name is Wonjae, and I'm a rising junior at Harvard. I reside in Lowell House, and I am pursuing a double concentration in Math and Physics with a concurrent masters in Math. This Summer, I am pursuing research in Algebraic K-Theory under Prof. Michael Hopkins and Prof. Andrew Senger.

For the Fall of 2025, I will be a CA (course assistant) for MATH 231A, a graduate course in Algebraic Topology. In the past I have CA'ed MATH 137 (classical algebraic geometry) and MATH 122 (group theory and proof-based linear algebra). In the past, I have taken:

  • [Graduate] MATH 243 - Evolutionary Dynamics
  • [Graduate] MATH 232AR - Algebraic Geometry I
  • [Graduate] MATH 231A - Algebraic Topology I
  • [Graduate] MATH 231BR - Algebraic Topology II
  • [Graduate] 18.705 - Commutative Algebra (at MIT)
  • [Graduate] 18.715 - Introduction to Representation Theory (at MIT)
  • [Graduate] 18.726 - Algebraic Geometry II (at MIT)
  • [Graduate] 18.737 - Algebraic Groups (at MIT)
  • MATH 154 - Probability Theory
  • MATH 129 - Number Fields
  • MATH 123 - Rings, Fields, and Galois Theory
  • MATH 114 - Functional Analysis I
  • MATH 55B - Algebraic Topology and Complex Analysis
  • MATH 25A - Theoretical Linear Algebra and Real Analysis
  • ARABIC AB
  • ARABIC BA
  • LIFESCI 50A - Integrated Science (Double Course)
  • EXPOS 20 - Climate Fictions
  • GENED 1185 - Armenian Art History

In the Summer of 2024, I conducted research through the University's PRISE Fellowship, under Dr. Alexander Rotenberg at the Boston's Children Hospital. My research was an independent project involving applications of topological data analysis and Markov chains with memory to arrive at an unbiased approach of determining the efficacy of gene therapy treatment with behavior as a proxy. My proposal can be found under "Projects."
